These works were created for an installation in 2008. This is the time when I really started using recycled items from previous works. I appreciate that some of the past layers come through and show the history of the particular piece. On the other hand, because I’m recycling, I’m losing something along the way. In the end, I like the idea that I’m taking the best parts of previous work. There is a destructive component to the process that I enjoy as well.
